For many, 2020 forced a transition to a whole new way of doing business – the remote workforce – and it seems it may be here to stay.

During this session, Bond, Schoeneck & King Labor and Employment Attorney, Stephanie Fedorka, and Rose Miller, President of Pinnacle Human Resources, will discuss the legalities and best practices regarding managing remote workforces.

About Our Presenters:  Bond, Schoeneck & King Labor and Employment Attorney, Stephanie Fedorka, and Rose Miller, President of Pinnacle Human Resources

Stephanie focuses her practice in labor and employment law matters serving clients in both the public and private sector. Stephanie has experience in assisting clients with matters arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the New York Human Rights Law, among others. She also has experience in matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act and the Taylor Law. She also has experience with issues pertaining to New York and Federal wage and hour laws and regulations.  

While in law school, Stephanie had the opportunity to work in the Office of General Counsel for an administrative agency in Washington, DC where she exclusively worked on labor and employment law matters.        

Stephanie also served as the Secretary and Vice President of the Latin American Law Student Association and as the Editor in Chief of the Syracuse Law and Civic Engagement Forum at the Syracuse University College of Law.

While earning her Juris Doctor at the College of Law, Stephanie simultaneously earned her Master’s in Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.

Rose is President of Pinnacle Human Resources, LLC, a NYS #55656 and nationally certified Women Business located in Albany and Syracuse, NY.  A human resources professional for over twenty-five years, she enjoys helping companies to find solutions that improve their human resources delivery system.   Rose is frequently requested speaker both locally and nationally and she is the author of the monthly column “Work Matters” for the Times Union, a Hearst Publication. Rose also has a growing audience following her podcast series, “The Thorn in Rose’s Side”. 

Rose’s staff of over 20 HR professionals offer On-Site/Off-Site HR support models, HR Audits, Employee Handbooks, Managerial Training, Executive Coaching, HRMS Implementation Services, Leave Management Services, Organizational Development Plans, Performance and Compensation Systems and assistance with Mergers & Acquisitions.
